Update on the current situation
Dear customers and partners,
in May the harbours and marinas finally will reopen in many areas. We are all looking forward to familiar sailing areas and waters that are still waiting to be explored. To get back our freedom and feel part of the elements again is the wish of us all in these unusual times.
Please enjoy your regained fun on the lakes, rivers and the sea and keep an eye on the current measures.
At this point we want to keep our promise and give an update on how HanseYachts AG is doing in corona times.
Our dealers and service points all continue to take care of your inquiries by phone or email, many of them have already opened again. In all of our factories the production lines are still running and your yachts are being built diligently. Despite the greatest efforts and sharply increased stocks, we could not secure all the necessary parts for several months in advance. Some borders are still difficult to cross and various suppliers suffer from temporary production and yard closures. Thus, there unfortunately are occasional delivery delays. If your boat is currently affected, we apologize for this and kindly ask for your understanding. Please also note that one of our measures against the pandemic is to strictly secure our production site. Unfortunately, access to the shipyard in Greifswald for customers, dealers and other guests has been prohibited since the beginning of March and until further notice. However, it is still possible to inspect the finished boat at the delivery dock.
34 boat shows have already been cancelled worldwide between the months of March and August – that is why we are working on digital alternatives so we can present our wide-ranging yacht portfolio with many innovations and some world premieres to you. Keep dreaming. Your own boat is not only the most beautiful way of spending your vacation, but also a safe place for you and your family. Your dealer is always there for you to support you in realising your dream.
